White Christmas Margarita

December 23, 2019

Margaritas aren't limited to warm weather. Here's a seasonal version with a tropical flare (coconut milk) and festive presentation.

Ingredients

1 (14 oz) can of Unsweetened Coconut Milk

1 cup of Tequila

¾ cup Triple Sec

½ cup Lime Juice

½ cup White Grape Juice

½ cup Sugar Cane Keep It Simple Syrup

2 cups crushed ice

Pomegranate arils

Rosemary Sprigs (Garnish)

Directions

1Place the coconut milk, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, white grape juice, KISS simple syrup, and ice in a blender.

2Blend until smooth.

3Fill each glass, then drop a few fresh pomegranate arils into each glass.

4Serve with a small rosemary sprig as a holiday accent accent.

The basic ingredients for a margarita are lime juice, simple syrup, triple sec, and tequila. The variations and garnishes are endless. For example, as an alternative - or as an addition to the pomegranate arils and rosemary - rim each glass with a lime wedge and dip into a shallow dish with sweetened coconut flakes before filling. Or replace the rosemary with a slice of lime - which still achieves the "green and red" look.
This version brings an unexpected flavor combination to the mix: coconut and white grape juice. The presentation couldn't be more festive. This is a must-try for holiday entertaining.
