Raspberry Chocolate KISS

A special cocktail for Valentine's Day... all dressed up with crushed chocolate wafers.


¼ cup Spearmint Keep It Simple Syrup

¼ cup vodka

3 chocolate wafer cookies, finely crushed

10 raspberries

1 oz (2 Tbsp) unsweetened cranberry juice

ice cubes


1Fill a shallow dish with just enough Spearmint KISS to cover the bottom. Place crushed cookies into another shallow dish. Invert a martini glass into Keep It Simple Syrup, and then immediately into crushed cookies to coat the rim of the glass.

2Place raspberries and Spearmint KISS in a cocktail shaker.

3Crush with a muddler.

4Add vodka and cranberry juice.

5Fill shaker with ice. Shake well until chilled.

6Strain into prepared martini glass. Serve immediately.

This beautiful cocktail conjures up pure indulgence. When you can't decide between a cocktail or a cookie, have both! The simple addition of crushed chocolate wafers as a garnish raises an ordinary vodka cranberry to a higher level. For a smoother drink, puree all ingredients (except the vodka) in a small food processor and strain out the raspberry seeds. Pour this mixture into a chilled shaker with vodka and ice, and strain into prepared martini glass.
