Spearmint KISS at the Elby Awards
The Tipsy Taylor named Official Cocktail of the First Annual Elby Awards in Richmond, VA
The Tipsy Taylor, made with Spearmint KISS and Richmond’s own Cirrus Vodka, will be served at the after-party following Richmond Magazine’s First Awards Ceremony to Honor Excellence in the Richmond Region’s Restaurant Community. Keep It Simple Syrup is proud be included as a sponsor of the event.
To make a Tipsy Taylor, simply replace the rum in a Mojito with vodka!
The Awards Ceremony and the after-party, hosted by Richmond Magazine, will take place on President’s Day, February 12, 2012. The theme of the after-party, Mother of Presidents, will be the 8 US Presidents who were born in Virginia. (Can you name them?) The Tipsy Taylor cocktail was named after Zachary Taylor, the 12th US President, born in Orange County, Virginia during 1784.
The Elby Awards will recognize winners from a list of nominees in nine categories. Twenty-five industry professionals, food writers, culinary instructors, and food society members nominated this year’s finalists.
